Why Safari works best on iOS

Apple restricts how browsers handle downloads. Safari tends to present clearer download prompts and plays nicer with the Files app than some third-party browsers on iPhone. For Fastik, we recommend Safari on iOS 13 or newer for the smoothest path from TikTok link to saved MP4.

Step-by-step: download TikTok on iPhone

In the TikTok app, open a public video and tap Share → Copy Link. Switch to Safari and open Fastik. Paste the link, tap Download, then choose MP4 (or HD if shown) or MP3. When iOS asks where to save, confirm the download. Open the Files app to find your file under Downloads or On My iPhone.

Save a TikTok MP4 to Camera Roll / Photos

iOS often stores browser downloads in Files first. Open Files, locate the MP4, tap and hold it, then choose Save to Photos. The clip appears in your Camera Roll and can be used in iMovie, CapCut, or the share sheet like any other video you recorded yourself.
